Cardinals Look to Bounce Back From Rare Regular Season Loss

Bishop Diego High School football suffered their first regular season loss in football since 2011. The Oak Park Eaglestore through Bishop Diego’s highly-regarded defense as the Cardinals fell 42-28.

The Cardinals hadn’t loss in the regular season since a close defeat at Santa Ynez in week one back in 2011.

Bishop Diego is 7-1 and will now have to play at Nordhoff this Friday. The Rangers are the defending CIF Northwest Division champions and have not lost at home since 2011. The winner secures second place and an automatic playoff berth out of the Tri-Valley League.
