Car Slams Into Santa Maria Home

Another car slammed into a home in Santa Maria.

It’s happened three times in the last few weeks.

Wednesday night’s crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. on the 900 block of North Ridge View Drive in Santa Maria.

An elderly couple accidently drove through their own garage and a spare room before the car came to a stop in the middle of their mobile home.

They are fine, but they were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

CHP investigators did not say how this happened.
