Dancers prepare for little fiesta
Old Spanish Days doesn’t officially start until Wednesday, but you wouldn’t know it by the crowd gathered in front of the steps of the historic Santa Barbara Mission.
They are getting a sneak peak the La Fiesta Pequena.
The rehearsal gives dancers and parents a chance to see the show twice.
The little fiesta also gives the area’s youngest dancers a chance to shine.
The girls and boys practice all year for their moment in the mission spotlight.
Many of their costumes are handmade.
The real show kicks off at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Admission is free.
