Bid box helps car salesmen get day off
A Ventura car dealership found of a clever way to give its sales staff the Fourth of July off.
You could say the folks at Gold Coast Acura at the Ventura Auto Center are thinking outside the box.
They created a patriotic silent-salesman box, located at 3195 Perkin Ave.
Customers are invited to do place a bid in the box on the vehicle of their choice.
They may get the car they want, and in return, Acura’s sales staff members get to spend the holiday with their families.
