Fire burns brush by Solimar Beach
Ventura County Firefighters said they stopped a small brush fire from growing on the hills above Solimar Beach.
The fire was reported just after 1 p.m. near Pacific Coast Highway, just north of Ventura.
They said it was being pushed by winds.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
