Girl struck by car

A 14-year-old girl is recovering after she was struck by a car in Goleta.

The incident happened around 6:30 Friday night. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department says the girl was crossing the street when she was hit.

The unidentified victim was rushed to Cottage Hospital with a broken leg.

The driver of the Jeep was stopped for questioning and released.
