Bishop Diego cannot soar with Oak Park Eagles in boys hoops

Ron Lee Jr. was as good as advertised and he had plenty of help as Oak Park won at Bishop Diego 78-61 to stay undefeated in the Tri-Valley League. Michael Alvarez scored a game-high 23 points while Lee and JD Slajchert each added 22 points as Oak Park improved to 22-3 for the season and 8-0 in league. Lee is a highly-rated recruit and his father Ron Lee played in the NBA for several seasons.

It was the Cardinals final home game on the season and they played well pulling within four points midway through the third quarter after back-to-back three-pointers by senior guard Caleb Richey. The loss drops the Cardinals to 13-10 for the year and 3-5 in league.
