Checkpoint Weekend
At least three DUI checkpoints are being held this holiday weekend.Two will be in place tonight, one in Goleta and the other one in Oxnard.Ventura police will hold one tomorrow night.Special grant money is used to pay for the officers who work all night.This year there is a new emphasis on drunk and drugged drivers.Police call it D-U-I-D for driving under the influence of drugs.They are urging everyone to play it safe by designating a driver.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
