San Marcos Punches Ticket To Championship Game In Carp Hoop Tourney
Bryce Ridenour scored a team-high 16 points including seven late free throws as San Marcos edged Rio Mesa 43-38 to advance to the finals at the Jim Bashore Holiday Cage Classic in Carpinteria. The Royals Paxton Ridgway sank the only field goal of the fourth quarter for San Marcos who will now play their rival Santa Barbara in Tuesday’s championship game at 7pm. Martel Tyler had a game-high 17 points for Rio Mesa who will face Arroyo Grande in the third place game.
