This week’s KEYT Backyard Barbecue had a Fiesta theme that would make Old Spanish Days dance for joy. Our gracious hosts were Elizabeth Brooks and Rrick Wolf. They hosted their 53rd annual Fiesta party at their beautiful San Roque area home in Santa Barbara during KEY News at 5, 6 and 6:30. The fiesta party is a tradition started by Brooks’ parents back in1959. On the menu? Barbecue sausage, carne asada, beans and rice from a family recipe, and of course an enchilada casserole. Brooks felt up for Friday night’s challenge, in fact she’s used to cooking for 50 to 60 guests every time she throws a fiesta party.The winner of our season ending cook-off on TV Hill will receive a Kenmore Elite Grill from Sears and a $250 gift certificate from Shalhoob Meat Company.For more information visit the KEYT Contests page.
