Lompoc seeks input on new playground equipment at Beattie Park

LOMPOC, Calif. - The City of Lompoc is planning to break ground on a new playground and fitness area at Beattie Park and they are seeking input from the community on choosing one of two project options.

The city has created a webpage on their website where residents can take a survey to share their preferences on how the playground and fitness area should be designed. The survey will be open until Friday, May 1.

The page shares detailed descriptions of each of the park options.

Option 1 for the park playground and fitness area
Option 2 for the park's playground and fitness area

Virtual video tours and details about the equipment shown in each option will be available on the city website as well.

The city said Beattie Park’s playground and fitness equipment is funded by state Proposition 68 per capita funds and Community Development Block Grant funding.

Questions from the public on the Beattie Park project or survey can be directed to the City of Lompoc Recreation Division at (805) 875-8095.
