Local Business Creates 90 Teddy Bears for Critical Ill Children in Goleta

GOLETA, Calif. (KEYT) — Employees at Seek Thermal are putting together 90 teddy bears for Hearts Aligned, a non-profit that supports Santa Barbara County families caring for critically ill children.

Workers are assembling the bears during a volunteer event at the company’s Goleta location.

Representatives from Hearts Aligned are also taking part as the finished bears are prepared for donation.

The project gives employees a hands-on way to support families dealing with serious medical challenges.

Each bear will eventually reach a child or family connected to the non-profit.
