Farmers Market comes to The Collection in Oxnard

OXNARD, Calif. -- The Collection in Oxnard has reopened more businesses since the pandemic, and now they are launching a Farmers Market to the area.

The Collection used the pandemic year to update the center and welcome in some new businesses.

“Such as King and Queen Cantina, which is a modern Mexican cuisine, and Pizza Man Dan, which is a local favorite, and we will also have Salons by JC, and Sunglass Hut,” said Jill Almonia, marketing manager at The Collection.

The center says by the end of the summer the Annex will be fully occupied with new and existing businesses. Kids entertainment is also back.

“Jump ’N Jammin, which is our children’s entertainment center has actually recently reopened and they have welcomed the families back,” said Almonia. “There are guidelines that they do ask the families to follow, but it has been so incredible to see the families coming back and enjoying those times with the kids.

The Collection also welcomed a brand new playground, and on June 19 the center will launch a Farmers Market which will be held every Saturday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

“And then are artisan market which will feature local artisans with hand crafted goods will take place from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. the second Saturday of every month,” said Almonia.

The Collection said they plan on putting their Summer Concert Series on hold, but it could return by this Fall.
