GUADALUPE, Calif. - The City of Guadalupe received a $206,450 sustainable communities grant from the California Department of Transportation (or Caltrans) in March 2018.

The grant was given to Gaudalupe to develop a Mobility and Revitalization Plan which would involve multi-day public workshops and input from business and community members.

A draft of the plan was presented to Guadalupe City Council on Nov. 26, 2019, and is available on the city's website for review.

The city will be hosting one of the public workshops on Jan. 12 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the City auditorium located at 918 Obispo Street in Guadalupe.

All members of the community are invited to attend the public workshop and are asked to provide input on improving safety and conditions for walking, bicycling, transit and driving in the city. Ideas on how to beautify the downtown area and promote business development are also welcome.

Refreshments will be provided at the workshop.

If you have any questions regarding the Mobility and Revitalization Plan, you can call the City Administrative Office at (805) 359-3891.
