Santa to the Sea Toy Drive giveaway held in Nyeland Acres

OXNARD, Calif. - The twelfth annual Santa to the Sea Toy Drive giveaway took place by the giant Santa in Nyeland Acres. The unincorporated Ventura County neighborhood is near the border of Oxnard.

The Santa that used to be off Santa Claus Lane in Carpinteria is where runners drop off toys at the start of the annual half marathon.

Nyeland Promise let children choose age appropriate toys and then raffled off bicycles and TVs.

Nyeland Promise has partnered with the county, Oxnard College and FOOD Share to help the community.
