Vintage Poster reproductions sold at Avo Fest

Tracy Lehr / KEYT

CARPINTERIA, Calif. (KEYT) California Avocado Festival visitors bought posters.

Some people took home reproductions of past California Avocado Festival posters.

They chose from a display showing them through the decades.

"We absolutely will do it next year, we have a lot information about what they want, they want a book made with all of them in it and so who knows what might happen next year," said Sandy Evans.

People also wore vintage festival T-shirts.

Most didn't leave empty handed.

Some people bought avocado chocolate truffles made by Jean-Michel Carre.

Others bought fresh avocados from local growers.

People also had a chance to ride the Ferris wheel.

The Palm sponsored young riders.

The 40th annual California Avocado Festival  wrapped up on Sunday night.
