Extreme Heat Warning issued August 1 at 11:28AM PDT until August 2 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA

* WHAT…Hot daytime conditions with high temperatures between 95 and
105 common, except localized 105 to 110 in the hottest locations.
Warm overnight conditions will bring less relief than usual.

* WHERE…Most valleys and mountains of Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa
Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties.

* WHEN…Until 8 PM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…There is a high risk for dangerous heat illness,
especially for sensitive groups like the very young, the very old,
those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young
children and pets in unattended vehicles. Limit strenuous activities
to early morning or evening hours. Take action when you see symptoms
of heat exhaustion.
