Santa Maria non-profits seeking volunteers for back to school shopping spree

SANTA MARIA, Calif.- Santa Maria non-profits are seeking volunteers to help children experiencing homelessness get ready for the school year.

Good Samaritan homeless shelter and fighting back Santa Maria Valley are taking kids on a shopping spree this Saturday.

Thirty six students in need will take a trip to Old Navy in Santa Maria to buy clothes for the upcoming school year.

Fighting Back Santa Maria says all of these students are currently experiencing homelessness or financial instability.
