Two people hospitalized after crash on Highway 46 Thursday afternoon
PASO ROBLES, Calif. – Two people in a 2019 Kia were transported to a local hospital with major injuries after a collision with a semi-truck and trailer at Highway 46 and Union Avenue. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.
Paso Robles Police Department (PRPD) received the call of a traffic collision with injuries around 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
According to PRPD, arriving officers discovered two involved vehicles, a red 2019 Kia and a semi-truck with a trailer.
The 18-year-old male driver of the Kia and their passenger were found unconscious inside the car and required specialized equipment to get them out detail PRPD. Both occupants were transported with major injuries to local hospitals.
PRPD detail that during the collision investigation, it was discovered the Kia was reported as stolen out of Fresno.
