Former Oxnard police spokesperson releases second crime novel

For almost 3 decades David G. Keith was the public information officer for the Oxnard Police Department.

He was interviewed about crimes thousands of times. Since leaving the force he has parlayed his experience into fiction.

On Sunday he released his latest book Hard Landing. It is a sequel to his 2015 book “Icy Betrayal.”

Keith said readers seem to like the new book the best. He hopes that is a compliment and not a reflection of his debut novel.

Many of the characters are based on real people. Hard Landing is dedicated to his wife Giselle who he refers to as his best friend and partner for life.

The new book released by Good Egg Press can be found on Amazon, Kindle and in local book stores.

His books are also at local libraries.
