UCSB wins season opener over USC in men’s volleyball

UC SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Ryan Wilcox helped the Gauchos start the college volleyball season with a win as he had a match-high 14 kills in a 4-set win over USC.

The match is part of the 3-day Asics Invitational at UCSB.

#7 UCSB dropped the first set but quickly turned it around winning (19-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-23).

Dayne Chalmers added 11 kills.

UCSB hosts #2 UCLA on Saturday at 8pm in one of the featured matches of this tournament.
