Halloween weekend is the last weekend to visit “The Patch” in Santa Maria
SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- Halloween weekend is the last weekend to visit Santa Maria's pumpkin patch, "The Patch" and enjoy, a selection of pumpkins, a corn maze, a carnival tunnel, and many photo opps.
“I’m a stickler for supervision, and I think that's really nice that I can, you know, just bought myself with the little ones and then still keep my eye on everybody else. And also, they have, like, amazing amenities. They got Danes, they have the bounce houses, a bunch of props for photo taking," said Mireya Perez from Santa Maria.
The family-friendly pumpkin patch has been open every weekend in October with a large selection of pumpkins starting from $4 dollars to $14 dollars.
“Have our families get together and spend money within our community," said Melissa Monge Supervisor for Casa Dei Bambini Montessori Preschool.
For some thrill and spooky monsters, people can enjoy the corn maze for $3 dollars or unlimited entries for $5 dollars. There is also a kid zone with bouncers, jumbo games, and a shaded picnic area.
“We are very happy because this a family event. It's a place where you can come with all of your family to enjoy a beautiful day. There are spots with shade where you can sit for awhile and enjoy your food, and you can go explore. So it’s awesome," said Janet Plasencia from Santa Maria.
Their carnival tunnel has 5 challenges for everyone to try and many photo opportunities all around The Patch.
“Having places to go to, to mingle and to continue to build and can make those connections. Ah, it's, it's a central part to our community," said Perez.
Parking is $5 dollars and they are accepting credit cards.
