Pumpkin Sculptor Offers Tips At McGrath Street Pumpkin Patch
Kids got a kick out of Terri Hardin’s great pumpkin. The creator for the “Pumpkin Sculpting” book and DVD carved the sisters from “Frozen” onto the side.
Hardin is a Disney Imagineer and has carved pumpkins on the “Ellen” show and for other Hollywood productions.
She said buying big pumpkins after Halloween is a great way to learn and to save money.
Hardin said students are always afraid to begin. But she said there is an artist within that needs to be given a chance to be creative.
The patch with pumpkins, gourds and a petting zoo can be seen from the 101 Freeway.
