UCSB Arts & Lectures reflects ‘Creating Hope’ and ‘Justice for All’ with performances and speeches
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - UC Santa Barbara Arts & Lectures has released a lineup of music, speeches and live performances that will include some of the top talents in America.
Executive Director Celesta Billeci says the lineup will have in-person and at-home access.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place at local venues but the pandemic is not impacting what will be a broad cross-section of appearances from October 10 - May 15.
Billeci says public policymakers, change-makers, writers and artists will be part of the Justice for All series.
There will also be a Soul of America salute and The Joffrey Ballet.
The program was revealed at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum courtyard on Tuesday night.
The lineup will also include, Julian Castro, The Wood Brothers, The Danish String Quartet, Ballet Hispanico, Joshua Bell and Peter Dugan, Roxane Gay, David Sedaris and Elizabeth Strout in conversation with Pico Iyer.
