Territory Ahead Shutting Down Santa Barbara Store

The main downtown Santa Barbara Territory Ahead store will close down for good Sunday. Store employees are selling off the final items of apparel at 80 percent off the marked prices.When the lights are turned out, 12 employees will be jobless.Signs out front of the State Street location, also direct customers to the corporate office nearby where some other special clothing items are also for sale at a discount.Earlier this year, The Territory Ahead outlet store nearby closed.The Territory Ahead was purchased this year by the east coast company, Distinctive Clothing. Specific future plans for the clothing line, if any, have not been announced.
