Tuesday morning forecast June 1st

Temperatures are slightly warmer Tuesday, reaching near average on the coast and above average inland. The coasts will be in the 60s to low 70s and interior areas in the 80s to low 90s.

A ridge is building more into the West Coast. However, the marine layer will linger in the morning and continue its night to morning pattern. There may be little to no clearing through the day on beaches.

Gusty southwesterly winds will continue in interior areas, making conditions hot and dry.

A trough is moving down the West Coast and will reach our region Thursday, cooling temperatures slightly.

The ridge will break down Friday and an upper low will start making its way down the West Coast, cooling temperatures to near or below seasonal norms by Sunday in most areas.
