Clutch hit by Lynk keeps San Marcos tied for first place in the Channel League

San Marcos edges Lompoc to stay tied for first place in the Channel League.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Number 9 hitter Nathaniel Lynk delivered a bases-loaded, two-out, 2-run single to snap a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning and San Marcos edged Lompoc 4-3.

The Royals improved to 10-2 in the Channel League and remain tied for first place with Santa Barbara with three league games left.

UCSB-commit Cole Schoenwetter, just a sophomore, picked up the win for San Marcos.
