San Marcos defeats Santa Barbara in water polo

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos started slow but they had enough to beat rival Santa Barbara in girls water polo.

Trailing 3-1 in the second quarter, the Royals got goals from Brooke Ingram, Sophia Panossian and Caroline Courtois to grab a 4-3 halftime lead.

The Royals went on to win the game 8-6.
