Monday evening forecast – Dec. 2nd

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - We saw scattered showers on Monday, mostly in northern Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County. Rainfall totals, however, were minimal. High temperatures reached the mid to upper-60s across our area. There is a lingering chance for showers Monday night, with overnight lows in the low-50s and upper-40s.

Showers are possible again on Tuesday, with the chance of rain increasing later in the evening. High temperatures will again reach the mid to upper-60s. A large rain system arrives late Tuesday or early Wednesday morning, bringing a steady rain and cooler temperatures. This system could bring up to one inch of rain for coastal areas, and more for mountain and foothill areas.

After a slight chance of showers on Thursday, a second rainfall system arrives on Friday and is set to linger into the weekend. We'll begin to see more sunshine and drier weather beginning on Sunday.
