Cottage Health opens second urgent care center in Goleta

GOLETA, Calif. -- Cottage Health has opened its second urgent care location in Goleta.

The urgent care center is located on 5652 Calle Real in Goleta and is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 365 days a year.

Cottage says the goal is to provide complete care within 45 minutes.

The center will offer services to treat various conditions including cold and flu symptoms, scrapes and minor cuts, minor burns, sprains, allergies, earache, urinary infection, skin conditions, rash, poison oak and other minor ailments and injuries.

Patients who require attention for more serious medical conditions may be referred to a local Emergency Department or physician.

The urgent care will also provide onsite services including x-rays and lab services.

Cottage says the urgent care centers are staffed with a licensed nurse practitioner, a radiology technician and clinical concierges.

The center will also offer physical exams for sports participation.

Cottage has other urgent care locations in Goleta at Hollister Village, Oxnard on West Esplanade Drive and Santa Maria on North Broadway. 

Cottage says additional Urgent Care centers will be opening in coming months, including one in Camarillo on Las Posas Road and San Luis Obispo at Marigold Center.
