Free treats from SLO Sweets for those who served in the military
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - SLO Sweets of San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles are giving all service men and women a treat through the weekend.
In honor of Memorial Day, all past and present service men and women who visit either location will be gifted a free chocolate treat.
“We are proud and honored by the service that our Men & Women have given this community and it is our turn to give back,” says Miranda Battenburg, owner of SLO Sweets. “The decision to support them and give them a small treat is something we strongly believe in.”
The event will take place Friday through Monday of Memorial Day weekend during their hours between 12 p.m and 6 p.m.
To receive the gift, a service identification card or another proof of military service must be shown.
SLO Sweets is an old-fashioned candy shop with locations in downtown San Luis Obispo at 1020 Court Street and in downtown Paso Robles at 840 11th Street.
