Thursday morning forecast May 14th

Santa Barbara, Calif. - It was a windy Wednesday for the California Central Coast and South Coast. Although the name of the day has changed the weather will remain the same today. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for the South Coast as well as the mountains of Santa Barbara and Ventura counties through Friday morning. Highs will range from the lower 70s to the lower 80s.

The jetstream will stay over California on Friday, leading to more afternoon wind after a marine layer morning start. We'll have fewer clouds early on Saturday followed by increasing clouds and weaker wind. We can expect more clouds and cooler weather Sunday. There will be a slight chance for showers Monday, but wind is more likely for most areas next Monday through Wednesday.

Daytime highs will continue to rise through Friday and Saturday, before falling late this weekend and early next week with a Pacific storm approaching. Coastal highs will range from the 60s to the lower 70s, with 70s and lower 80s in our warmer inland valleys. Overnight lows will remain mild for mid May, ranging from the mid and upper 40s to the mid 50s for all areas.
