Old Mission Santa Barbara streams Easter service while closed

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Old Mission Santa Barbara live-streamed its Easter Sunday service from the Serra Chapel.

The mission grounds were empty with the exception of a few people walking in the rose garden.

Father Larry Gosselin shared a comment via social media.

"May this Easter, this unprecedented Easter bring forth of us a newness of thinking a new way of being in the world and in the spirit of peace and love in the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ."

The mission is closed to the public until further notice, but everyone is welcome to follow the mission on Facebook or at santabarbaramission.org.
