Car chase near Lompoc results in 3 juvenile arrests

LOMPOC, Calif. - Three juveniles were taken into custody after they led law enforcement on a chase near Lompoc Monday morning.

The chase started around 9 a.m. at Burton Mesa Boulevard and Rucker Road in Mission Hills, near Lompoc.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle that ran a stop sign. When the vehicle fled, deputies gave chase.

The chase winded throughout the area but ultimately came to an end in the same intersection where it began.

Three juveniles were taken into custody, according to the sheriff's office.

The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries. The two passengers were uninjured.

The incident remains under investigation.
