A wet and windy forecast for the start of November

Pixabay

Our Halloween storm continues to spread mostly light sporadic showers and this will likely continue through the evening and in to Sunday. Overnight lows will dip in to the 50's for most areas and look for highs on Sunday to hover mostly in the upper 60's to right around 70 degrees. Rain accumulations through late tomorrow morning should not exceed a tenth to maybe 2 tenths of an inch at best. As the system clears quickly through Sunday late morning, look for breezy to moderately strong northwest winds.

Looking ahead, the northwesterly winds on Sunday will turn more north and then northeasterly by Monday which means a slight warming trend is expected with most areas seeing 70's by Monday and Tuesday.. A couple of storm systems will approach areas well to our north, but we see some extra clouds with little to no threat for rain around mid week and again closer to next weekend. Temperatures all week will stay on the mild to warm side with maybe even a few 80's for the warmest areas by next weekend.
