Tracking rain through Halloween

Happy Friday! We begin the morning with damp conditions and spotty showers throughout the area. We hold with overcast skies, on and off light rain, and temperatures into the 60s. Most areas hold with a 20-50% chance of showers, with a slight threat for thunderstorms as well. Expect brief periods of moderate rain before the quick moving storms disappear. Impacts will be minimal.

Light rain may occur Saturday morning before a large pulse of rain moves in. Expect overcast skies, cool temperatures and light winds. By the time you're headed out for dinner or trick or treating the rain begins once again. Most areas are at a 70-80% chance of showers and this will be a good soaking of rain. The forecast right now calls for half an inch to an inch of rain. Expect spotty pop up showers through the overnight. Wind may be breezy but below advisory levels.

A drying trend occurs Sunday and Monday. Look for temperatures to increase and more sunshine. We rise back to 70s by the start of next week.
