Man With Chest Pains Airlifted From Santa Cruz Island Wednesday Morning

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – A 40-year-old man with chest pains was airlifted from Santa Cruz Island Wednesday morning.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, Helicopter 964 responded to Santa Cruz Island at 8:38 a.m. for an adult man with chest pains.

The image below shows the approximate location of Wednesday's emergency response.

The 40-year-old patient was flown to Santa Barbara Airport where an ambulance transported him to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara for further medical treatment shared the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
