New Student Wellness Space Opens at Santa Barbara High

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) - Santa Barbara High School is opening a new campus space designed to support student well-being and connection.

The Wellness Center and Hidden Haven were created through a partnership between the school and the Grace Fisher Foundation.

The center offers students a welcoming place to step away from the pressures of the school day, connect with others and access support.

School leaders and community partners will mark the official grand opening Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at Santa Barbara High School.

The new space reflects a broader effort to give students more opportunities to feel supported on campus.

The celebration will take place at 700 E. Anapamu Street in Santa Barbara.
