Temperatures remain warm Thursday, mild for the weekend

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It will be another warm day on tap for the Central Coast Thursday, with temperatures above average. Early morning marine layer returns this morning for parts of the coasts and valley areas, but will be quick to clear.

The next couple of days will be mild and calm, with little to no change until Saturday. Expect warm conditions, with light wind each day. No weather alerts are in place as of now, which is great. Temperatures will be back into the 80s and possibly low 90s for the region.

We won't cooldown until Saturday, when temperatures drop a few degrees till early next week due to a trough of low pressure to the North that will drop down.

Monsoonal Moisture and upper level clouds may move through on Saturday from Hurricane Polo, however we will keep an eye on that to see how it progresses over the next couple of days. if so, expect possible humidity for the weekend.

By next week, First Alert Weather Center is tracking another warming trend, sending temperatures back into the high 80s and low 90s. The heat is here to stay.
