Santa Paula Father and Son Arrested For Yearslong Sexual Abuse of Multiple Children

SANTA PAULA, Calif. (KEYT) – Ramon Godinez Sr. and Ramon Godinez Jr., a father and son from Santa Paula, were arrested earlier this month in connection with a child molestation investigation.

According to Santa Paula Police, at least three female minors have come forward about abuse over several years at this point in their investigation and additional survivors are expected to come forward.

The Santa Paula Police Department shared with Your News Channel that the father and son knew the survivors from a familial relationship.

The 80-year-old and 49-year-old were arrested on Aug. 1 of this year at the home they share in Santa Paula and both being held without bail shared the Santa Paula Police Department.

The Santa Paula Police Department stated that Godinez Sr. was booked on multiple charges of forcible lewd acts on a child and Godinez Jr. was booked on the following violations:

• Multiple Counts of PC 269(a)(5)–Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child
• Multiple Counts of PC 288(b)(1)–Forcible Lewd Acts on a Child
• Multiple Counts of PC 288.7(b)–Unlawful Acts with a Child Age Ten or Younger
• PC 136.1(b)(1)–Dissuading a Witness from Reporting a Crime
