Pedestrian struck and killed by a car in Ventura on Sunday night

VENTURA, Calif.

Ventura police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident.

It happened at the intersection of Harbor Blvd. and Beachmont St.

That is where a man was struck and killed by a car around 7:22 p.m.

The driver stayed at the intersection and cooperated with police.

Northbound lanes of Harbor closed temporarily for the investigation.

Anyone with information relating to the accident is urged to call 805-339-4451.
