Two Transported After Single-Vehicle Rollover Off Southbound Highway 101 Tuesday

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – Two people were transported from the scene of a single-vehicle rollover on southbound Highway 101, just north of the junction with Highway 1, Tuesday.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, one of the patients had major injuries and the other had minor injuries after colliding with a standing tree off the shoulder of the roadway.

On Aug. 11, around 3:32 p.m., first responders were sent to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover crash off southbound Highway 101 north of the junction with Highway 1 and the Gaviota Pass shared the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

An initial survey of the scene revealed the rollover crash happened after a collision with a tree off the shoulder, but the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation noted the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
