Cool Monday morning, tracking a mild week

Two cold air masses crossed over the Central Coast over the weekend bringing heavy rain Saturday night and mountain thunderstorms Sunday. Very cold air will hover over the area, meaning frigid Monday morning temperatures. Bundle up, there may be a bit of a wind chill factor as well. Highs rise into the 60s for most beaches. Overnights fall back into the 40s with a few areas of fog.

We begin Tuesday morning with another round of cool temperatures and mostly clear skies. Some fog and marine clouds may roll in for a few hours before a clear afternoon. Winds will be blustery at times. Highs rise into the 60s and low 70s. Overnights drop into the 40s and 50s.

A few hours of marine clouds appear Wednesday and Thursday morning. We begin to see a fast clearing trend and highs rise into the upper 60s and low 70s. A small warming trend occurs throughout the weekend.
