SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara International Orchid Show is back in town, bringing thousands of vibrant and rare orchids to the Central Coast and drawing visitors from across the country to Santa Barbara. The event will be held at the Earl Warren Showgrounds from March 20 through March 22, 2026, with doors open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This year’s theme, “Orchid Escape,” is designed to transport visitors into a tropical, immersive environment, with large-scale displays created by growers and artists that showcase a wide range of colors, textures, and rare species from around the world.

Guests can expect to see professionally designed exhibits, award-winning orchids judged by experts, as well as photography and art inspired by the flower. Vendors will also be on site selling orchids and gardening supplies for those looking to bring a piece of the experience home.

Organizers have also planned several special events throughout the weekend, including an opening night celebration, wellness experiences like yoga and sound baths, and private dining experiences surrounded by the exhibits.

Considered one of the most prestigious orchid shows in the United States, the Santa Barbara International Orchid Show has become a long-standing tradition in Santa Barbara, highlighting the region’s deep connection to orchid cultivation.
