Fire teams responded to residential fire on La Paloma Avenue northwest of Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – Fire crews responded to a fire at a two-story home under construction in the 4400 block of La Paloma Avenue northwest of Santa Barbara.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, all of the residents and construction workers safely exited the building before the arrival of first responders.

The flames were largely contained to the second floor and the fire was knocked down around 4:17 p.m. Wednesday shared the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation explained the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
