Sunday Evening Forecast April 25th

As expected and much celebrated, our late season storm is moving through the region. Mostly light showers have been reported and that means that rain totals will likely be pretty minimal. It's also very cool and even cold with breezy winds. We will monitor the showers through the night and update you if anything develops newsworthy from this much needed late season storm!
Looking ahead, slight shower chances will linger in to Monday and it will stay cooler than normal with highs expected to be once again only in the upper 50's and low 60's. By Tuesday, we should see plenty of sunshine despite some patchy fog and a slight warm up. However, this time of year is known for weather whiplash and that's what we see developing by mid week as winds turn more north and then northeast. It is likely that we will see another offshore flow with the afore mentioned winds and temperatures will climb quickly. Don't be too shocked if widespread 70's, 80's are the norm by Thursday with even a few low 90's in the warmest locations. The warm up will last in to next weekend with slightly cooler temperatures and light patchy fog returning by Sunday.
