Wednesday morning forecast – Dec. 18th

A system arrives for Wednesday with light rain showers for areas north of Point Conception. Santa Barbara County and areas down south will remain mainly cloudy. With gradual clearing towards the afternoon allowing for partly to mostly sunny skies. Temps will be cooler with daytime highs along the coast and valleys in the low to mid 60s.

Warmer and drier conditions could be expected for Thursday with a ridge of high pressure building along Southern California. Expect less cloud coverage with mostly sunny skies for the Central and South Coast. Daytime highs along the coast and valleys will be in the mid to upper 60s.

The warmest day out of the work week will be Friday as the ridge of high pressure settles. The next system will arrive Sunday with a chance for rain until Tuesday.
