A slight chance for lingering rain otherwise mainly cloudy skies for Thursday morning. The system that brought rain, snow and hail to Southern California will shift northeast allowing for less clouds and drier conditions. Daytime highs along the coast and valleys in the low to mid 60s.

Looking ahead, a ridge of high pressure will build into Friday. With warmer temps and more sunshine for the weekend. Daytime highs along the coast and valleys will be in the low to mid 70s.
