Wednesday morning forecast – Nov. 20th

The first rain event of the season will arrive for Wednesday. Areas near point conception will observe light showers during the early morning hours with Santa Barbara and Ventura viewing mainly cloudy skies. Daytime highs along the coast and valleys will be in the low to mid 60s.

A slight chance for scattered rain showers will persist throughout Wednesday and into Thursday. Ventura County could total up to a quarter inch of rain with Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo getting less than a tenth of an inch.

Looking ahead, the upper level low spinning through Southern California will shift east on Friday. This will allow for drier and warmer conditions for the weekend. Temps along the coast expected to be in the upper 60s to low 70s with valleys in the low to mid 70s.
