USSF-432 Mission Scheduled for Launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base Friday

KEYT News

VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. (KEYT) – A Falcon 9 launch of the USSF-432 Mission is scheduled for liftoff on Friday, Nov. 6, between 4:46 p.m. and 8:46 p.m. Pacific Time.

There is a backup window for the classified mission on behalf of the U.S. Space Force that has been designated on Saturday, Nov. 7 starting at 4:32 p.m. Pacific Time.

A live webcast of the launch will begin about ten minutes before liftoff. You can tune in to watch here or on SpaceX's X/Twitter account.

Following first-stage separation, the booster assigned to this launch will return to Earth to land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship awaiting in the Pacific Ocean.

A depiction of that launch sequence is shown in the image below.

There is the potential for one or more sonic booms to be heard across the local region during the launch, but how far the sound travels will depend on weather and other conditions at launch time.

This will be the eighth flight for the Falcon 9 assigned to this mission. The same booster previously launched GPS III-8 and six Starlink missions.
